Some 70 km north from Stockholm is Uppsala. There is the Linnaean gardens, museum and botanical garden where the first plants were planted already in 1665. The Garden is named after Carl Linnaeus, one of the world’s most noticed scientists, responsible for developing a system of plant taxonomy still in use today. However, this is not the only beautiful or some kind of remarkable garden in Stockholm and surroundings. At countryside you can visit several well-preserved castles and their gardens. You can accommodate in Stocholm all tour but we recommend taking at least a night or two time to overnight on countryside or in smaller towns. We recommend taking this tour during May-August.
